Dosh Pot Privacy Policy

Effective date: 25 August 2026

This policy explains how Flexicoder Ltd (“Flexicoder”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use Dosh Pot, including its iPhone, iPad, widget, Apple Watch, and App Shortcuts features.

In brief

Dosh Pot does not connect to your bank, collect bank credentials, sell personal information, use advertising trackers, or move money. The balance and payment details you enter are used to provide the app’s planning features.

Information you enter

Dosh Pot can store information you choose to enter, such as a pot name, current balance, payment names, payment dates, payment amounts, icons, and colours. This information is used to calculate and display what remains after upcoming payments.

Where information is stored

App data is stored on your device and in the app’s shared device storage used to provide widgets and companion features. If you enable household sharing, the current balance and regular-payment list for the shared pot are synchronised using Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services. iCloud availability and handling are also governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy.

Household sharing

When you create or accept an iCloud household share, the people included in that share can see and update the shared pot information. You control invitations through Apple’s sharing interface. Do not add information to a shared pot that you do not want those participants to see.

Widgets, Apple Watch, and App Shortcuts

Dosh Pot sends the information needed to display selected pot summaries in its widget and, when paired, its Apple Watch companion. App Shortcuts use the information already available to Dosh Pot to open the app or report the amount left. These features do not create a separate advertising or analytics profile.

Purchases and RevenueCat

Dosh Pot Pro is processed by Apple’s App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment-card or bank details. Apple may process purchase and account information under Apple’s policies so the purchase can be completed and restored.

Dosh Pot uses RevenueCat to manage the Dosh Pot Pro purchase entitlement. To validate purchases, restore access, and keep entitlement status up to date, RevenueCat may process Apple transaction or receipt information, the product identifier, entitlement and purchase/restore status, an app user identifier, and limited app/device/SDK metadata. RevenueCat processes this information on our behalf as a service provider. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy for more information.

Your balance, pot names, regular payments, and other budgeting data are not sent to RevenueCat. RevenueCat is used for purchase management only. It does not provide Dosh Pot with access to your bank account, bank login, transactions, or payment-card details.

Analytics, advertising, and sale of data

The current Dosh Pot app does not use third-party advertising trackers, sell personal information, or share your information with data brokers. We do not use your balance or payment details for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Your locally stored app data remains until you edit or delete it, remove the app, or otherwise clear the app’s data. Shared iCloud data remains subject to the sharing owner’s and participants’ iCloud actions and Apple’s service operation. To ask a question about personal information held by Flexicoder, contact business@flexicoder.com.

Children

Dosh Pot is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The effective date above will identify the current version.
