Dosh Pot Support
Dosh Pot is a manual planning tool for seeing what remains after the payments still to come this month.
Getting started
- Open Dosh Pot and create a pot for the account or plan you want to track.
- Tap the balance card and enter the balance currently available.
- Open Manage base payments and add the regular payments you expect later this month.
- Return to the dashboard to see the amount left, days remaining, and daily allowance.
How the calculation works
Dosh Pot subtracts payments due today or later in the current calendar month from the balance you enter. Payments earlier in the month are shown as already gone. The daily allowance is a whole-pound amount that is rounded down, so it never suggests more than the calculated amount.
Changing one payment
Tap a payment on the dashboard to make a one-off change to its date or amount. Your regular payment setup stays unchanged. Use Reset to original to remove the temporary change.
Widgets and Apple Watch
Choose which pots appear on the widget from the pot editor. The Apple Watch companion displays the latest snapshot sent from your iPhone. Open Dosh Pot on iPhone if the watch has not updated yet.
Household sharing
Household sharing uses Apple iCloud. Everyone you invite needs an Apple Account with iCloud enabled. Sharing is optional; the core app works without it. If syncing appears unavailable, check iCloud sign-in and internet access, then use Sync now in Settings.
Dosh Pot Pro
The one-time Dosh Pot Pro purchase unlocks multiple pots and Apple Watch support. Purchases can be restored from the Upgrade screen using the same Apple Account used to buy the product.
RevenueCat helps Dosh Pot check the App Store purchase and keep the Dosh Pot Pro entitlement available across reinstalls and restores. Apple handles payment and billing. RevenueCat does not give Dosh Pot access to your bank account or bank details.
Important
Dosh Pot does not connect to your bank, import transactions, or move money. You enter the balance and payments yourself. It is purely a day-to-day planning tool and does not provide financial advice.
