Native iOS experience from the beginning of the App Store
I have been creating apps since the Apple App Store opened. That experience covers the evolution from Objective-C and UIKit through to modern Swift and SwiftUI, as well as the practical work of shipping, maintaining and improving real products.
I use the native platform to preserve performance, accessibility and the interactions Apple users expect. The implementation approach is chosen for the product and existing codebase rather than following technology trends without a reason.
From idea to App Store release
I can help shape scope and user journeys, build the application and its integrations, test the important behaviours and prepare a release. Where an app depends on remote data, I can also work on the API, database and Azure services behind it.
For existing applications, I begin by understanding the current architecture and release risks. Changes are then kept focused and verified so that improvement does not come at the expense of working behaviour.
Relevant recent work
Road Speed Calibrator is a recent SwiftUI product using AVFoundation, Vision and Core ML to analyse roadside video, calibrate perspective and produce transparent speed estimates. It was developed during OpenAI Build Week using Codex and GPT-5.6 as an engineering collaborator.
